Passed away peacefully at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017, Peter Carl Downer, age 83.
Predeceased by his parents Finley and Ida Downer.
Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife Nellie, sons Cyril (Jocelyn) of Davidsville, Gordon (Susie) of Clarke's Head, Hubert of Clarke's Head, Norman of Clarke's Head, Nelson (Trudy) of Clarke's Head, daughters Doreen (Albert) of Rogers Cove, Shirley (Maxwell) of Gander Bay South, Lenora (Roderick) of Fort McMurray, AB. ,sister Bernerdene (Joseph) of Glenwood, 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Resting at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wing's Point, on Thursday, April 20th from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. and Friday, April 21st from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 22nd at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Clarke' Head.
