Passed away peacefully at the AM Guy Memorial Health Center , Buchans on May 5th 2017 George M. Mercer age 71 years.
Predeceased by his parents Annie and Matthew Mercer , Father-in-law Philip Hynes, brother-in-law Trevor Metcalfe .
Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife of 48 years Hazel Mercer (nee Hynes) , son Barry, grandchildren Cole and Lauren Mercer Edmonton AB., brothers Douglas (Eleanor) Dartmouth NS., James (Linda) Manuels CBS NL., Patrick (Lynda) Trenton ON., Tony (Judy) Upper Gullies CBS NL., Kevin (Julie) Courtney BC., sister Ulia Metcalfe Manuels CBS NL. Welcoming poppy into heaven with open arms are grandsons Gavin and Dane Mercer . Also a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday May 9th at 2:00 pm at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Buchans . Interment Buchans Community Cemetery .
