Randell Frazer Mayo , 65 of Gander, NL passed away suddenly in the presence of his wife of 45 years, Mabel Gladys (nee) Samways, in their cottage, at Square Pond on June 14, 2017. Predeceased by his parents Samuel & Florence Mayo and his brothers Roland and Sydney. Left in fond and loving memories are his two daughters Sheri (Todd), Tanya (William), three grandchildren , Sarah, Stephen, and Olivia May. His brothers Samuel (Elaine), Murdoch (Catherine), Theodore (Marilyn), Wallace, and David. His sister Dorothy (Joan). Many nieces and nephews and a large extended family and friends. Randell was a passionate man who loved fishing, hunting, and spending quality time with his family, especially at his cottage ("The Camp"), and also with his shadow, Angel! He was extremely proud of his daughters, and his grandchildren. A very special thank you to our dear friend John Kenney, and to the first responders for their loving care and support.
In keeping with Randell's wishes cremation has taken place. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home Gander with visitation Saturday evening June 17th 7-9 pm , Sunday June 18th 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take take Monday June 19th at 2 pm at Fraser Road United Church, Gander with Reverend Kathy Brett officiating .
