It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aubrey Anstey announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Sunday August 6, 2017 at the age of 70 years. He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Edith, and sister Doreen Shallow. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Claudia; sons: Sean Anstey of Twillingate, NL., Justin Anstey (LeeAnn) of Twillingate, NL.; grandchildren: Mason Anstey, Ryder Anstey, Parker Anstey; brothers: Gerald Anstey (carol) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL., Ross Anstey (Bernice) of Twillingate, NL., Kevin Anstey (Ziomara) of Medicine Hat, AB., brother-in-law Patrick Shallow also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue on Thursday August 10, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be take place on Friday August 11, 2017 from the St. Martins Anglican Cathedral at 2 p.m. officiated by Reverend Brian Candow, cremation to follow with interment to take place at All Saints Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Aubrey’s memory may be made to St. Martins Anglican Cathedral.
