I had the pleasure of getting to know him a little as a room mate of my father in law in recent weeks at JPMH and was witness to the love and support provided by his family as he moved towards the end of this stage in his journey. Clearly, this man was blessed with a long life in a wonderful, loving family. No one can really ask for much more than that and those he leaves behind can cherish and take comfort from those memories. My sincere condolences as you deal with his loss.

Sorry to hear of Uncle Eric's passing.
I cannot help but laugh when I hear or think of his name.
Should have told this story when we celebrated his 90th. birthday however it wasn't done.
Those of us who knew him know that he was very whitty, didn't like the cold,and never too warm for him.
We all know that Gander is known for more than it's share of snow.
It was getting well up into spring and Gander got dumped with an extreme amount of snow.
I called him and said you got another bit of snow.
His response was- a bit- there's no worries about a white xmas this year cause there'll be lots left.
I'm sure you can all hear him say that.
If all the laughs we had with him and your mom were recorded it would be a best seller.
He always said make sure there's a pack of baccy in my casket cause most likely there'll be a delay crossing the river of Jordan because of a gale of Easterly wind
Wish I were there cause I'm sure you have many similiar stories to tell
