Orvin, Aunt Shirl, Kelsie, Mom and family,
I wish we could be there to help celebrate the life of one of the most incredible women I have ever known. Aunt Ada was very special to all of us and I know she knew that. For me, trips home were never complete without a few visits to her house. We spent a lot of time together during the summers at their cabin in Western Arm where we both looked forward to our daily visits, chats, and cups of tea together. As a little girl, trips to Aunt Ada's and Uncle Tom's were always full of fun, laughter, foolishness and stories from years ago! Always up for a good time, tears shed at their house were few unless they were from laughing so hard you cried! Her laugh was infectious and one couldn't help go into hysterics when she laughed. I will miss that. Aunt Ada taught me that we should always love others even when it's difficult, be kind and put others first, and to be proud of who we are and where we came from. I hope I can instill these values in my own children. I will remember her always with a smile and try to carry her legacy on proudly.
