Condolence From: Kathleen MacDonald, Corner Brook
Condolence: Dear Bart, Lisa, Nancy, family and special friends Our dear Loretta has accepted the divine embrace of our heavenly father. My deepest sympathy to each of you. When I spoke with her a week ago she was so full of joy, as she always was. She mentioned each member of her family with pride. She said she was thrilled to be able to chat on Skype with her great grandson through Sara. It was truly great to hear her voice and laugh...her infectious laugh. How blessed we were to have known her. She was totally amazing. She touched many lives. She was always doing something for someone. She volunteered at the Goodwill Center for many years, worked on fundraisers and special events. She was a model in one of our Celebrity Fashion Shows. When she came on stage on the arm of my son Aaron she received a standing ovation. There were many tears of joy for her. She was a great inspiration to me personally. She encouraged me to come to her Self Management arthritis classes. I learned a lot about what I was going through with arthritis and how to reduce pain. She gave me many tips which I still find very useful. She was very professional in her teachings. Thank you Loretta. She regularly bought items for people she felt needed them. She had a heart of gold. She would bring in treats to the Goodwill for all of us. My favorite was her pink marshmallow squares. Yummy! Thank you Loretta. I wish I were able to come to Gander to be with all of you, I share your pain, however I am now caring for my 97 year old mom and unable to be there. I know the wonderful people of Gander will help you through this. Look for the brightest star and you'll see Loretta's twinkling eyes. Thank you Lord for giving us Loretta. Loretta, my love for you lasts forever. Kathleen MacDonald

Condolence: Dear Mr. Green, Lisa and Nancy, My childhood if full of great memories of Mrs. Green. She was like a second mother to me. She put up with Nancy and I laughing too loud, arguing too much; she made the best deep fried hot dogs and sand dollar fries ever. We spent many hours learning the art of playing 2000's from her. She was a great example of a wife, a mother and was giving of herself in all avenues of her life. She was truly a genuine and beautiful person inside and out. I loved her and she will truly be missed, I wish I could be home to celebrate her life with you. xoxo

Condolence: Bart, Lisa, Nancy and Sarah. Sending our love and prayers of comfort at this time. Aunt Loretta’s hospitality, love and kindness for others was Christ-like. Especially when people i.e. (family, extended families, friends and strangers) came to her home. You could not leave the house without her saying blend down and give me a hug. Today in heaven she can stand tall when she hugs into God arms and hears him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Tony and Dianne Callahan
