Wing Sing
August 3, 1947 - April 27, 2018
Szeto, Ken (Wing Sing) passed away on April 27, 2018 peacefully at age 70 at James Paton Memorial Hospital. He was surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his father, Kai Yong, mother, Tam Lin, brother Sheung, and daughter, Andrea.
Survived by his wife, Donna, six children, Kenny (Rebecca), Natasha (Adam), Juliana (Matt), Jason (Lisa) , Jasmine (Brandon), Tamara (Chelsea), sisters Yet Wah and Yet Ei, and his seven grandchildren, Lucas, Anika, Tristan, Jonas, Kyler, Ezra, and Lawson.
Ken came to Canada in 1974 , settling in Gander in 1977 to become owner and operator of Highlight Restaurant with his wife, Donna. He retired in 2013 after 36 years to enjoy life and his various hobbies. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander on Sunday April 29, 2018 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where a private family service will be held on Monday April 30, 2018, officiated by Captain Ashley Bungay, with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. The family is forever grateful to the nursing staff and emergency doctors at JPMH, especially to his family doctor Dr. Morcus Paulus for their comforting and compassionate care.
