Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander on May 29th, 2018 Althea Wheaton, age 94, of Frederickton. Predeceased by husband Frank, infant son Cyril, grandson Rodney, parents Beatrice and Alphaeus Weste, siblings Annie, Olive, Pearl, Lila, Gertie and Ralph.

Left to celebrate her life with loving memories son Glen (Blanche), granddaughter Sherry Freake (David), great granddaughter Brittany, brother Clarence (Juanita), sister-in-law Pearl Wheaton, special niece Ruth Walsh. A large circle of nieces and nephews who knew her so fondly as “auntie” or “aunt Thea” and many precious friends she made throughout her lifetime.

The family would like to thank the staff of Lakeside Homes and Dr Carmel Casey for their kind and compassionate care provided to her in her final months.

Althea is resting at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Carmanville on Thursday May 31st, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Friday June 1st, 2018 at Frederickton United Church officiated by Reverend Sherpherd Munikwa with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
