So sorry to hear of Velma's passing. Velma was always cheerful, she was a great neighbor and she was God sent when she was at Gander hospital sharing a room with mom. We asked Velma to keep an eye on mom and she did just that, she kept us informed of moms condition and we appreciated it so much; my family felt better knowing mom had a friend watching over her. My family was so happy when Velma got out of the hospital but I have to say mom missed her for weeks afterwards. Mom was devastated when I told her of Velma's passing, she sends her condolences to all of you as well. Barry and I want you all to know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time and Velma will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
