I'm so shocked to hear of Doug's passing. I worked with your Dad many years ago in GFW. We had many laughs together for sure. He was so wonderful to me on a personal level as well. He delivered my baby girl who is now 18 yrs. I lived in St. John's at the time so Doug would make time to see me whenever I came home as I wanted to have our baby in GFW where I had worked.I am from Botwood so it was closer to my family as well. Doug went out of his way to accommodate me and I will love him forever for all he did for me at that time. He kept in touch as well when I moved to Halifax. A gifted man for sure and an all around lovely man. Hold each other close at this very sad time and may your memories of your Dad keep you all close. Take care.
