Condolence: Although Roy was older and ahead of me in school he was conspicuous for many good reasons. He was a fine athlete who was good at any sport and clean living. Someone to look up to. I'm glad I visited Roy last summer though it was hard to find him in such a contrast to what his deserving self once was. In looking back at our young days in Gander and those fond memories of school, Roy stood tall. My sincere condolences to his family.

Condolence From: hardy & Terry Chippett
Condolence: Kelly, Terry and I want to express our sympathy to you, your mom and siblings and assure you of our prayers on the passing of Roy. We've known Roy for many, many years and always found him a man slow to speak but full of wisdom. Even though we knew he was sick for a long time, still his death came with sadness. You dad serve a risen Saviour and looked forward to a Heavenly Home in which he now dwells. So often we hear or read the phrase "rest in peace" but I am sure that when your father ascended to Heaven on Saturday he entered into everlasting, eternal peace.IN honour to your dad, I leave you with a verse from an old song: "Soldier of God well done, rest from thy loved employ, the battle's fought, the victory's one, You have entered your master's joy. God bless you all. Hardy and Terry

Condolence: Dear Lorraine,Kelly,Karen and Kim. Our hearts were saddened when we received word about the passing of Roy. Words cannot express the great loss you have encontered. While we were in Gander and came in contact with Roy he always had that Friendly smile on his face regardless of what cicumstance he was facing. Roy was indeed one of the most Godly men I have ever known.. he always had a compassionate heart for the church Family and just Loved everyone so much. He was a wonderful husband to Lorraine and a dearly Loved father and Grandpa. Roy today is really enjoying the riches of Heaven which he just dearly loved to talk about and what a day that was going to be. One thing I well remember Roy for is whenever he would call upon me to Pray in church he always called me Marie Berry.. and Roy that well stay with me forever. Lorraine and family may you be assured today that you all are rememebered with great Love and assurance that Earth Has No Sorrow That Heaven Cannot Heal and we will see Roy again just inside the Eastern Gate.
