I knew Lorne so well and always had the utmost of respect for him. He was a wonderful person and well respected by all who came in contact with him. His death came as a great shock to me.

It was with deep regets when we heard of the passing of Dr. Elms. Not only was he a great friend of my father, Eric, he was also our family dentist. Dr. Elms had a plesant disposition which helped to allay the fears of his many patients in the dentist's chair, especially mine. A great man, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. We were shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Lorne's passing. He was certainly a gentle man and so kind to the children when they visited him to have their teeth checked and treated. I accompained them from the school on several occasions. Brian still remembers him from those days and always has a story to tell.
