We spoke for an hour and had lots to chat about. I told Fred I will come to Gander to see him when I get back from BC. Before we hung up the phone, Fred said that he loved me and to take of myself. Condolence: So sorry to hear about Fred's passing. Fred was my neighbor on Sullivan Ave and was one of the first people on the street to welcome us to Gander. Over the years we were there Fred and Shirley treated us with kindness and had many cups of tea at their house. If I needed anything it was Fred who I asked first and he would always be there to help wither it was a problem with the house or the car he always knew the answer. I wish I had visited him more often in his later years.
