Condolences

Condolence From: Neil Anstey
Condolence: I would like to pass along my condolences to Dot's family. I knew both Ben and Dot through my father Bernard Anstey who was friends with them for many years. Only in the past few years I had done work for Dot on her home and always had many nice chats with her. The last time I'd seen her I asked if she could get me some home knit trigger mitts, and she assured me she would. It wasn't long when she called to tell me she had them sent down from St.Anthony. When I went up to get them to my surprise she had several pairs in a box for me which I still have several pairs and I will certainly cherish. Thanks Dot for your consideration I won't forget it. Condolence: Aunt Dot, you are finally at rest. Gone to a place with no pain or suffering and to be reunited with Uncle Ben, Aunt Bert and Dad. You are all smiling down on us I am sure. I remember when I was younger and we would come to visit or you guys would come to visit us in St.Anthony Oh the fun and laughs everyone had together. You will always be remembered in a special place in my heart.

Condolence: Aunt Dot was very special for all our family both growing up and with my own family. We loved visiting Aunt Dot and Uncle Ben in Gander and were always met with care and kindness and great cooking! Aunt Dot loved Bingo and I remember going with her and she was delighted when I was lucky enough to call Bingo! I also remember well going up the Gander River to Uncle Ben and Aunt Dot's cabin and their love of being there. We will miss Aunt Dot and share loving memories with all her family and friends. Dennis, Evangelitsa, Zoe, Yianni and Rose

Condolence From: Ron Rowsell & Family
Condolence: Aunt Dot and Uncle Ben were 2 very special kind people. We did not have the opportunity to visit many times over the years because of not living nearby but they were never forgotten, keeping in touch through Christmas Cards. The last time we stayed with them, we had our 2 daughters. They couldn't do enough for us and what a cook Aunt Dot was. We left there with a recipe for her Drumstick Dessert and an accordion for Erin. She will be with Uncle Ben now. Rest in peace Aunt Dot.
