Passed away peacefully at the James Paton Memorial health Centre, Gander on Friday, February 26th, 2016, Gordon L. Edwards, age 85.
Predeceased by his parents James and Matilda Edwards (nee – Gillingham), brothers Aubrey, Frederick, sisters Elizabeth Gardner and Phyllis Wells.
Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife Sadie (nee – Woolridge), sons Ivan, Jim (Loretta), Reg (Barbara), daughters Wanda Bursey (Gary), Sheila Saunders (Brian), Heather White (Lloyd), grandchildren Andrew, Jonathan, Sarah, Michael, Mitchell, Stephen, Caleb, Isaiah, step-grandchildren Kendall and Michael Annburg, Kendall and Aaron White, sisters Margaret (Arch) Moore, Mabel Deering, brother Evelyn (Betty) Edwards, brother-in-law Reg Gardiner, a large circle of nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.
Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander on Sunday, February 28th from 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Monday, February 29th at 11:00 A.M. from the Fraser Road United Church, Gander. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery, Change Islands.
