Condolence: Glenn, Bev and Heidi ... both Marjie and I would like to express our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom and Grandmother. She was a one of a kind. I only met her on one occasion at Tim Horton's on a very wintery, January afternoon when she was an ambitious young lady of 102. She was sitting down having a tea and a chat with you folks and Terri Lynn and Roland when I strolled over to meet her. Shortly after I was introduced she suddenly jumped up with great exuberance and announced, "Terri Lynn, let's go shopping!" It had been snowing quite heavily and the sidewalks were knee deep with powder. Terri Lynn politely asked, "Shall we take the car Mrs. Kirby?" Without hesitation she replied, "No let's walk!" To be vibrant, both physically and mentally, until the age of 107 is indeed a gift. It was a privilege to have met such an amazing woman as your Mom and we will be thinking of her as you fondly celebrate her remarkable life.
