November 1, 1958 – November 28, 2016

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of the late Gordon Vaters announce his sudden passing at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Dorothy; son Gordie (Jessica) of Appleton, NL; daughter Nicole Vaters (Jordan Boudreau) of Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren: Loghan, Brady, Claire; father Henry (Betty) Vaters; brother Collin (Michelle) of Bedford, NS; sisters: Beverly (Gerald Yetman) of Charlottetown, NL, Gloria Vaters of Gander, NL, Annette Vaters (Glen Arbour) of Dartmouth, NS, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Melvie Vaters and brother Rex Vaters. Family will be receiving friends from the Riverside Pentecostal Church, Glenwood on Thursday December 1, 2016 & Friday December 2, 2016 between the hours of 2-7 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday December 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. officiated by Pastor Hynes with interment to follow at the Pentecostal cemetery, Glenwood. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
