It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ambrose R. Dyke announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at the age of 81 years. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Rita Dyke; infant son; Sisters: Lorraine, Mary, Ida, Barbara, Patience; brother Marshall and Son in law Terry. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories Wife of 59 years Patricia; children: Christine (Eugene), Barbara (Dale), Marlene, Derrick (Rhonda), Rhonda (Attila), Lorinda; grandchildren: Dana (Tammy), Michelle (John), Melanie (Ray), Amy (Stuart), Lesleigh (Mark), Dylan, Caitlin, Caleb; great grandchildren: Spencer, Faith, Leah, Lincoln, Aiden; sister: Rita Beaton; Brother Albert (Geraldine); brother in law William Cross; Sister in Law Fern Dyke, also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family is receiving friends from the Pentecostal Church, Norris Arm North, on Saturday February 18, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 and on Sunday February 19, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Monday February 20, 2017 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at the Pentecostal cemetery, Norris Arm North. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations in Ambrose’s memory may be made to the Gideon’s International of Canada.
