Condolence From: Steve & Debby Eastwick
Condolence: When I arrived in Gander to work for Gander Aviation in 1974 Terry and Jim Pike met me at the Airport. As a young inexperienced Pilot, Terry became like a big brother to me. I can tell you that he did a Medevac from Fogo Island on a day that the weather was almost impossible and likely saved a young girls life. He came with me on my first trip to Nain and I learned so much from him. From this time of long ago I still remember his laughter and his delight in story telling. Please accept our sincere sympathies.

Condolence: To Bernie Chris and family. We offer our deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers. For 27 years I have worked as a a forest fire fighter and have worked closely with Terry on hundreds of forest fires. Terry's work ethics were down to brass taxes type of guy and his ability to drop load after loan of water and foam so accurately was always spot on. Terry was always there with a big smile while telling one story or another. Another true "Ganderrite"has received his final wings. may God bless and look after Terry's family.

Condolence From: Doug Foley and Christa Power
Condolence: Bernie, Christa and I are very sorry for your loss. Terry was among the finest of Gentlemen, always right alongside the Truist of Ladies. I always respected your relationship with each other. I have no idea how many times Terry told Chris how proud he was each time something was accomplished by his son. But, to me, many times he would go on and on about his absolute Pride in His Boy. No matter what age, Terry treated Chris' buddies as equals. Always made us feel good and confident at whatever we were at. We all respected him to the upmost. Always will. That's just one of countless wonderful characteristics that embodied Terry Eisan. He will be missed. We Love you, Doug, Christa, and Family

Condolence: Bernie, Chris, Roy and families. Sincere condolences. Terry and I were great friends since the late 60's when we were at the Gander Flying Club. We flew together, worked together, even went to the Flyers Club a few times together. Terry was a super gentleman, a top notch pilot, and a terrific friend. Nobody in this world meant more to Terry and Bernie than their son Chris. Terry beamed from ear to ear when speaking of his son. And he did so often. Hard to imagine Gander with no big smile around from Terry Eisan. Godspeed, my dear friend . . .

Condolence: My first memories of Terry was when he and I used to catch frogs in the “ Tall Grass” and put them in our old wheel barrel. The Eisan brothers, who lived two doors up on Sullivan, were always good street hockey mates. Although I have not lived in Gander for some 40 years, everytime I visited and bumped into Terry he was always laughing and talking to me about the old days. No one had a bigger smile.... There was never a friendlier face that I recall. It is with great sadness to hear of my old friends passing.
