Condolence From: Bettina Ford
Condolence: I am so sad that Peggy has passed. Her time here is to be celebrated. Peggy impacted the lives of hundreds of youth through her work with Allied Youth. As post advisor she taught us responsibility, team work, compassion for others, the privlege of serving, engaging in community, how to run an organization and solve community problems. Life skills and values that many AYers, including me, took into adulthood. She impacted so many many youth of AY posts in Gasser who have fond memories of parties in her basement and trips to notre dame park piled into her car. Last year I had an opportunity, now a grown up, to attend an Allied Youth provincial rally. I brought Peggy with me. The current youth leaders invited her up front and applauded her. I was filled with pride to know that she had been MY post advisor. It was a circle kind of moment to be there with her both as adults and to share with the youth what made her so amazing. Peggy - thank you. Sincerely. On behalf of Allied Youth junior post 1987-1990. God speed.
