It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Velma Winnifred (Oake) Bath. She passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on September 30th, 2018 in Grande Prairie, Alberta with her loving family.
She is predeceased by her husband Kevin, parents Harold and Phillipina Oake, brothers Gerald and Wallace Bursey and brothers-in-law Cluney Nippard and Ellis Bauld.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her partner of many years Terry John, son Kevin Shane (Brenda Kirilenko), daughters Gloria (Robert Coates Jr.) and Charmaine (James Nippard); grandchildren Allan, Brandon, Chelsea, Brittany and Braeden; sisters Carrie Oake (Lester), Netta (Bursey) Nippard, Jean (Bursey) Bauld); brothers Albert (Helen) Oake, Ellis (Vera) Oake, Donald (Florence) Bursey, Raymond (Ivy) Bursey, and sister-in-law Joan Bursey. Velma also leaves a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
