Pritchett, Roland James

Passed peacefully away in his 86th year at Kenny's Pond Retirement Living in St. John's, NL, Roland James Pritchett of Gander, NL. Predeceased by his parents, Roderick and Sarah (Horlick), sister Beulah (Allan), and brother Charlie (Marion).

Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 67 years, Jean, children Dwight (Sharon), Rod (Patricia), Pam (Dave), Craig (Sheila), and Sherri (Rob); grandchildren Melissa (Nick), Heather (Matthew), Andrew (Erica), Sarah (Shane), Jennifer (Trent), Courteney (Mark), and C.J; great-grandchildren Lucas, Ethan, Owen, Norah, and Alexander; sister Lena (Ches), brother Don (Dorothy), and a large circle of beloved family and friends.

While there were many who helped, the family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff of Kenny's Pond Retirement Living who ensured that the final years of his life were filled with laughter and respect; as well as to Bob and Ruth Gosse, who went above and beyond being neighbors and friends.

Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, gander on Saturday November 3, 2018 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m The funeral service will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, Gander on Sunday November 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m officiated by Majors Rex & Darlene Colbourne with interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
