It is with great sadness the family of Lloyd Poole announce his passing on Dec 29th after a brief but brave battle with cancer.

Lloyd was born in Windsor on December 5th, 1948. He eventually settled in Gander in 1981 with his wife Pauline where they raised their three sons, Cory, Steve and Marcel. Lloyd was very proud of his four grandchildren and most recently his great granddaughter. There was never a moment, right to the end, that he wouldn’t light up at the mention of them.

Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Vera Poole and his infant sister. Left to mourn with loving memories, his wife Pauline, sons Cory (Edwina), Steve (Tara) and Marcel, grandchildren, Manuelle Shea (Billy), Olivia Poole, Megan Poole and Mathew Poole and his great granddaughter, Graylee Shea. He will also be missed by his 5 brothers, 8 sisters and a large circle of family and friends.

The family will be having a small personal service on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019. As expressions of sympathy lieu of flowers donation may be made in Lloyd's memory to The Children's Wish Foundation.
