It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shane Francis announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Saturday January 5, 2019 at the age of 44 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Gaye; step father Joe; sister Cindy (Kevin); brothers: Kirby, Dale (Janice), David (Tara); grandmother Janet Bath; son-in-law Alex Bouchard; nieces: April, Jennylee; nephews: Jeffery, Reid, and special nephew Jeremy; special friend Hailey; great niece Taylor Ruth; great nephew Kayden and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousin and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Jenna; father Cordell Francis; grandparents Wesley Bath & Angus & Hazel Francis, and aunt Flora Oake. Family will be receiving friends at Riverside United Church, George’s Point, NL on Monday January 7, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday January 8, 2019 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Larry Noseworthy with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Georges Point. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Shane’s memory may be made to the Central Northeast Health Foundation, Dialysis Unit.
