Obituary for Viola Walsh
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother the late Viola Walsh in the presence of her loving family at the Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion in Carbonear, Newfoundland on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, aged 83 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Ralph Walsh; her parents Gertrude and Bennett Eastman; brother, Melvin Eastman; brother in-law, George West; Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Wade (Pauline) Walsh and Kirk (Sharon) Walsh of Glenwood, NL; daughters, Diane (Kevin) Slade of Victoria, NL, Debbie (Dennis) Seaward and Donna (Wayne) Butt of Foxtrap, NL; grandchildren, Stephen (Fallon), Jason, Jeffrey (Brad), Christopher (Monique), Justin and Nicole (Tyler); Sisters, Evelyn West, Musgrave Harbour, NL, and Marion (Ben) Wicks, Appleton, NL, and sister-in-law, Rosetta Eastman, Glenwood, NL; as well as a number of nieces and nephews and friends.
Resting at First United Church, Glenwood with visitation hours Saturday, January 19th from 2 – 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM and Sunday, January 20th from 2 - 4 PM.
Funeral Service will take place Monday, January 21st at 11:00 AM followed by interment at the United Church Cemetery, Glenwood.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Cemetery fund of the Glenwood First United Church or the Arthritis Society of NL.
