Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 1st, 2019 with her sons David and Paul by her side, Mrs. Clementine Laura Hamlyn in her 80th year. Pre-deceased by her husband Frederick Hamlyn, parents Chesley and Beryl Newman of Englee and brother Calvin. Clementine is lovingly remembered by sons David (Margot) and Paul (Heather), grandchildren Kurt, Jayne, Noah and Madison. She is fondly remembered by her brother and sisters Warrick (Madeline) Newman, Velma (Francis – deceased) Simms, Christine (William) Fillier, Alton (Fred) Newman and a large number of relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. A private family funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 3rd at 1:30 p.m at Stacey’s Funeral Home with Reverend Kathy Brett officiating followed by interment at the All Saints Cemetery. Friends may visit Stacy’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue on Saturday between 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
