October 5, 1969 – March 30, 2019

Wendy King passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home on Saturday March 30, 2019 at the age of 49 years. Left to grieve the loss and love of losing her are: her parents Judy king and Stuart king; her sisters: Heather and Libby. Wendy was a much loved daughter and sister; a terrific sister in law treasured niece and cousin and a true friend. Her love and generosity towards her nephews Ian, Zack and niece Caleigh knew no bounds. Any cat lucky enough to have been in her life most recently cutie and snowball knew a life of pampered luxury. We thank her coworkers and friends who have also been affected by the suddenness of her passing. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander on Friday April 5, 2019 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Martins Anglican Cathedral, Gander officiated by Reverend Brian Candow with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. We were very shocked and saddened to hear about Wendy's passing. Our fondest memories are of hanging out with her. I went to high school and college with Wendy and I definitely considered her one of my good friends. Steve did too. She had the best smile and laugh and was always ready to have fun. She will be missed by both of us. Our thoughts are with you.

I remember our wonderful Christmas visits to Aunt Judy’s where we got to spend time together, and eat lots of yummy treats. I always thought Wendy was so pretty with her beautiful red hair and long eye lashes. But it was her laugh and her personality that would light up the room. She had a way of drawing you in and you loved to be around her. I am so sad we will not get to hear that laugh again. My thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Judy, Libby and Heather.
