Passed peacefully at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Center , Gander on July 6th 2019 Eugene Kinden age 66 years. Predeceased by parents Gordon and Hilda Kinden of Indian Islands, in laws: John Moore, Lillian & John Buffett; brother in law Lewellyn . Left with loving memories are his wife Judy Moore Kinden , daughters Paula Kinden Gillingham (Perry Gillingham), Megan Kinden (Russell Bursey), grandson Oliver Bursey, brothers Roy (Lorraine), Neil (Marilyn), Gary (Joanne), Terry, Paul (Annette), Gordie (Karen), sisters Beulah (Gerald), Marilyn (Ken), Daphne (Rick), Judy (Tony), Joan (Gino) Cassie (Eric), brother and sister in laws Gloria, Harold (Linda), Darren (Diane), Sharon (Kirk). As well as a large circle of family and friends.
Resting at the St. Andrews Anglican Church Glenwood with visitation Tuesday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Wednesday 10 – 12 noon and 2-4 pm. Cremation to Follow. Funeral service Thursday July 11 at 2:00 pm. Interment Salvation Army Cemetery , Glenwood. Flowers are accepted or donations in Eugene's memory may be made to St. Andrews Anglican Church.
Eugene enjoyed spending summers salmon fishing on the Gander River, woodworking and loved spending time in the kitchen.
He devoted years to the town of Glenwood as a volunteer for Glenwood Recreation Committee, was a member of the Salvation Army Corp council, sat on the Glenwood Heritage Society as well as a counsellor with the Town of Glenwood.
Nothing brought him more joy then having all his family together, he loved his wife Judy and he’s two daughters Paula and Megan more then anything and more recently having been blessed with their first grandson Oliver whom he loved to no end.
