Obituary for Margaret Greta Burt
It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Burt announce her peaceful passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the age of 88 years.
Predeceased by her husband Ralph, daughter Sandra, parents; Esther and Samuel Rideout, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her children Belle (Duane), Craig (Jennifer), Kelly (Bruce), four grandchildren; Chenoa, Mitchell, Zachary, Jarek, sister Grace (Ross), brother Noel (Bertha), sisters in law Gertie and Shirley, brother in law Roy (Jean) and a large circle of family and friends.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff at Nightingale Manor and James Paton Memorial Hospital for the excellent care provided to Margaret with special thanks to Dr. Carmel Casey, Margaret’s family physician.
Visitation will take place at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander at 7 – 9 pm Friday August 30th, 2019. The memorial Service will be held at Stacey’s Funeral Home at 1 pm Saturday, August 31, 2019 with internment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Glenwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of ones choice.
