It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eudora Smith announce her passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Friday September 27, 2019 at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Gerald M. (Mary) Smith of Gander, Gary (Shirley) Smith of Woody Point; grandchildren: Sonia, Nikki (John) Walbourne, Gerry (Lacy) and their mother Susie Smith, Adam, Marina (Joseph); great grandchildren: Brooke, Kylei, Jakson, Anna, Lilly, Hank and Ash, sister-in-law Geneta Organ of Sarnia, ON; sister-in-law Verna Smith of Appleton. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald I. Smith; parents Hibbert & Mary Organ; sister Lorean (Eric) Humber; brothers: Robert Organ, Terrance (Isabelle) Organ; step sister Mary (Gord) Young; step brothers: Raymond (Maude) Organ, and Augustus (Let) Organ. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Eudora along with her predeceased husband Gerald I. Smith (2017) will be resting at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander from where family will be receiving friends on Saturday September 28, 2018 and Sunday September 29, 2019 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A private family service will be held at Stacey’s Funeral Home on Monday September 30, 2019 with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers memorial donations in Eudora’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
