March 20, 1941 - January 1, 2020
Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Wednesday January 1st, 2020 at the age of 79 years. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Clementine Parsons; his sister Evelyn Hibbs; his son Glynn Parsons and several in-laws. Left to mourn his wife of 53 years, Naomi; his daughter Trudy Downey, his favourite son in law Bert Downey; his son Dennis and his favourite daughter in law Nicole, and honorary daughter Laurie; His precious grandchildren Katelyn, Chelsea, Brianna, Cassidy, Jordan, Ashley, Wynter and honorary grandson Matthew; twin sister Jessie Parsons and brother Ford Parsons (Maxine). His infectious smile will be missed by his many friends and family of Baie Verte as well as Gander in most recent years. In keeping with Jerry’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation and service date and times will be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be May to the Alzheimer's Association.
