November 28, 1938 – January 28, 2020
Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family, Margaret R. Chaulk on January 28, 2020 at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre, Gander at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her husband Harry; father Edward West; grandson Kyle Head; granddaughter Layla Tulk and brother-in-law Aubrey Wright. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Angela (Kelly) Chaulk, Marlene (Wallace) Way, Karen (Shawn) Faulkner, Michele (Bruce) Hoddinott, Allison (Gordon) Head; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; mother Mollie West; sisters: Jacqueline Wright, Angela (Jack) Pinsent; brother Bill (Joyce) West and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander on Thursday January 30th, 2020 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday January 31st, 2020 from 10a.m. – 12p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday January 31st, 2020 from the Fraser Road United Church, Gander at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Kathy Brett with interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to St. Stephens United Church, Ladle Cove or a charity of one’s choice.
