Obituary for Paul Fisher

At the age of 50, in his final moments, Paul was surrounded by family and friends at Lakeside Homes in Gander on Sunday February 23rd as he passed away peacefully.

Predeceased by parents Doris and Clarence Fisher, Niece Grace Fisher and Father-in Law Fred Hill.

He is remembered with much love and wonderful memories by his wife Sheila, daughter Erika and son Jake, brother Terry (Elsie), mother-in-law Evelyn Hill, sister-in-law Shirley Shea (Jason) and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Paul was a loving father, husband, son and brother; a loyal friend, a caring and compassionate man.

He lived life to the fullest enjoying time with family and friends, having a good laugh and listening to his classic rock music. Paul’s kind, patient, and easy-going personality was evident with his large circle of friends. He had a passion for ski-dooing, bikes, cabin life and spending time with friends. He also enjoyed his years working with Air Canada Jazz always hoping to return. Paul shared his passions with his wife, Sheila and their kids Erika and Jake, including taking vacations together, ski-doo trips to the cabin and pool days with friends in the neighborhood.

Paul’s positivity and sense of humor never wavered during his battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

His courage and strength has been such an inspiration to us all. Paul loved life, his spirit and inner strength will live on in our family and those that loved him. We have lost someone very special.

Visitation to take place at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander Tuesday February 25th between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Wednesday 10am - 12 Noon followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 pm at St Martins Anglican Cathedral , Gander. Interment All Saints Cemetery .

Donations in Paul's memory made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Arrangements entrusted through Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander- Carmanville.
