Obituary for Neil Lewis White

Neil Lewis White
June 13, 1954 - April 2, 2020

Neil was born and raised on Change Islands. The second child of Bert and Ruby White. He attended school on Change Islands and completed is education at Lewisporte Collegiate. After school he made a living either in the fishing boat or at the fish plant. His last years at the fishery were spent on the longliner "Bonnie Juanita" which he operated with his brother Lloyd. He retired in 2018.

Neil was well known for his love of creating beautiful works of art from wood or soapstone. He was a perfectionist, and his art has found homes in far away places.

Neil is predeceased by his father Bert, He leaves to mourn his mother Ruby, his partner Marion, his sons Elvis, Patrick(Stephanie),grand children, Ryder & Lily, stepdaughter Lori(Dwayne), step grandson Godfrey, brothers Wayne(pansy),Lloyd(heather),sister Bonnie(Bruce) and a large number of nieces ,nephews and friends.

Also leaving to morn, The Edwards Family, Andy(Lorraine),Larry(Sheila),John(Yvonne), Joe (Pauline),Jim(jenny),Alfred, Vincent(June),Emily(Bill),Marie(deceased Dennis),Predeceased Bernard(Janet).

In keeping with Neil's wishes, cremation has taken place.
