Obituary for Pauline Budgell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline Margaret Budgell, age 66 on May 5th , 2020 at Lakeside Homes with her husband Ivan at her side.
Pauline is predeceased by her parents Harold and Gwendolyn Brown of Salvage, Bonavista Bay; father and mother-in-law's Maxwell and Malba Budgell of King's Point, Green Bay, also grandmother Clara Ralph, who played a significant role in Pauline's early life.
Leaving to mourn her husband of nearly 45 years, Ivan, daughter Danielle Clara Budgell and daughter Deanna Elizabeth Budgell and one grandson Isaiah Maxwell Budgell, all of Calgary, Alberta, sisters Ruth Doyon of Sudbury, ON; Sheila Critchley of Salvage; Denise Oldford and Louise Troke both of Gander, brother-in-law Lavern Budgell (Dixee) of St. John's, brother-in-law Glenndyn (Suzanne, Predeceased) of Springdale, sister-in-law Eileen Keats of King's Point. Pauline leaves also a number of nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends whose lives she touched as an officer of the Salvation Army in Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Pauline was a woman of great faith in God. When she met the Master, her life was completely changed and she embraced her new found faith with enthusiasm and it led to her becoming a full time Officer (Minister) in the Salvation Army (25 years), having come from a different church background, Pauline adapted quickly to the faith and practices of the Salvation Army and was loved by all who she came into contact with.
On May 5th, 2020 after a near eight year battle with Dementia, she was, as is said in the Salvation Army PTG – Promoted To Glory!
