Obituary for Maxwell Hayward

It is with great sadness that the family of Maxwell Hayward (July 26, 1939 - May 16, 2020) announce his passing at James Peyton Memorial Hospital in Gander.
Max is predeceased by his parents, Moody and Fanny Hayward. His in-laws, Fred and Lydia Bennett. Sister-in-law, Grace Stacey. Brother-in-law, Eric Bennett.
He leaves to mourn his wife of nearly 56 years, Gertrude Hayward. His daughter Lynn (Craig Fudge) of Clarenville, NL, his son Jeff (Kim) of Lloydminster, AB. His four grandchildren, Jamie (Victoria), Justin (Monica), Nicholas and Addison. His Brother, George (Lise) of Cornwall, ON. Sister-in-law Joan (Gordon) Whitte. Brother-in-law Doug (Anne) Bennett. Brother-in-law Lloyd (Cynthia) Bennett. As well as a large number of nieces and nephews.
Max was originally from Lewisporte , NL. He worked with Canada Post for 18 years after which he pursued an Education degree and taught in Lewisporte for 23 years. After retirement from teaching he devoted his remaining years as an Envoy for The Salvation Army - a position he dearly loved.
