Obituary for Jimmy Lush
James Lush laid down all his earthly belongings & walked into paradise on May 17, 2020 at the age 68.
Born to James & Margaret Lush on February 15, 1952 in Gander, Newfoundland
Predeceased by his mother & father, sister in law Nellie. Brothers in law Lewis, Gerald, Wills & Bob. Niece Tamey
He leaves all of us to mourn his passing & celebrate him as he was.
Brother to Stewart, Daphne, Olive, Marshall (Joyce), Verdon (Jessie), Jean, Alvie & Faron (Brenda)
Father to JimmyLee (Glenda), Shane (Jessica), Brittney, Brett & Cherita.
Husband to Cindie Lush
Jim was raised in Middle Brook. As he grew, so did his love for hunting, fishing & trapping. His life revolved around his passion for the outdoors, his children & their growing families. Working out, Hanging out with his buddies. And most of all, driving tractor trailer in his retirement years after working 30 years in overburden at Syncrude Canada.
In 2018 he was diagnosed with cancer. He never once lost his positive disposition or wavered in his renewed faith in God.
Cremation has taken place. The goal is have a family reunion & celebration of life followed by interment at Gander Cemetery in fall 2021.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to a local food bank in his honor.
