Pius Joseph Brennan was born on May 8, 1934 in Stock Cove, Newfoundland. He moved to Buchans and met Kay Head in 1954. They were married on June 26, 1956.
Left to carry on Pius’ happy memory are their three beautiful daughters, Bridget (Michael Glavine), Melita (Lorne Snow) and Peggy McGraw (Joey Colbert), and two wonderful sons, Tony and Barry. Pius and Kay have 5 grandchildren Denise, Janine, Lisa, Johnny, and Aaron and 5 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Max, Jordan, Zachary and Matthew.
Pius loved his family dearly and enjoyed playing the mouth organ, spoons, accordion and recently he picked up the guitar. Pius was always quick with a joke and loved company. No matter the time or circumstance, there was always room for one more. As much as he loved Friday nights with his buddies, he loved the cabin party and waiting for Johnny’s Saturday night phone call.
Pius leaves his family with happy memories and hearts full of love. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in all his family and friends
