I don't know where to start. I have so many great memories. Aunt Marg and Uncle Gord took me into their home many times without hesitation. Treated me like I was one of their own. As a child, I remember going into the store so many times to buy snacks and i would put the money on the counter and Uncle Gord would slide the money back towards me and wink. He was the greatest Uncle ever with the hugest heart and the friendliest smile. I always felt welcomed and loved. I can hear his voice now. "How's Vanessa doing today?" and with the biggest smile. I am heart broken. I wish i visited more than I did in my adult years. Going back home will never be the same without him. The first thing I wanted to do when I would go back is go to the store to see Aunt Marg and Uncle Gord. Uncle Gord, you were truly truly loved and you will be greatly missed. Just know that you will never be forgotten as you left us with such wonderful memories and you have touched so many hearts over the years.
