Obituary for Joseph Coles

Passed away peacefully at Lakeside Homes on Friday, August 21st, 2020, Joseph Coles age 84.
Predeceased by his parents Adam Coles- Oldford and mother Mary Coles – Oldford, brothers Clyde Coles, Clayton Oldford, sisters Annie Rose, Agnes Martin and Daphne Ford.
Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife Loretta Coles, sons Randy (Brenda) of Orangeville, ON; Jamie (Cassandra) of Whitehorse, Yukon; daughter Dianne (David Russell) of Baie Verte, brother Nelson of Peterborough, ON; sister Betty (Hedley Squires) of Deer Lake, grandchildren Christopher Russell (Alison), Charlene Doyle (Jamie), Bryan Coles (Heather), great-grandchildren Zachary Russell, Taylor Russell, Joshua Doyle, Jaxon Doyle, Deacon Coles, extended family and friends.
Due to covid 19 Pandemic all services will remain to family and invited guest.
A graveside service will take place at St. Paul’s United Church Cemetery in Bunyan’s Cove on Monday August 24th.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to a Charity of one’s choice.
Joe was born in Bunyan’s Cove. He married Loretta Blundon of Bloomfield. They moved to Millertown where they raised their three children. Joe worked with Abitibi Price as a Scaler. Joe’s love of music and salmon fishing was well known to both family and friends. He dearly loved his family and his many extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
We would like to express our heartfelt Thank you to our special and caring Homecare workers from Compassionate Homecare and the staff of Lakeside Homes for their care during Dad’s short stay.
