She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 65 years Sidney (Ted) Mercer, children Bruce (Eileen) Mercer, Lorraine (Ken) Watkins and Valerie Mercer, grandchildren David (Brenda) Mercer, Viki Wilson, Trevor (Cyndle) Wilson, Stephen (Stacey) Mercer, great-grandchildren, James Mercer, Billy Wilson, Jacob Quinton, and Charlie Mercer, sister Phyllis Luff, brothers Gerald Mercer, Reg (Doris) Mercer, Carl (Gloria) Mercer, Scott (Mary) Mercer and Robert (Doris) Mercer sisters-in-law Stella Mercer and Lillian Mercer and a large circle of family and friends.
Her community pride was demonstrated in so many ways over the years. She was a strong supporter of her church and was especially proud of her involvement with the UCW.
Margaret loved family gatherings, a good game of cards, berry-picking, her flower garden and quilting.
Flowers greatly accepted or donations can be made to the Janeway Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Funeral to take place on Friday September 11th, 2020 at 2:30 pm from the United church in Port Albert. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Port Albert.

Due to the current Covid 19 Pandemic attendance at the funeral service has to be by invite only. We ask that the family and friends please understand how hard it is for us to have to limit the people who wish to attend as it breaks our hearts . We know she would have wanted everyone who wanted to come to be there, she would have been very proud.
