Obituary for Craig D. Granville
Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the James Paton Memorial Hospital on October 8, 2020 after a short and valiant fight with cancer.
He is remembered with love by his mom and dad (Florence & Clarence), sister Tamara (Rod), brothers Roger (Melissa) and André (Sue). His nieces Taylor (Ben) and Emily (Brandon) and nephew Jacob. Many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as, a large circle of lifelong friends from Gander and new cherished friends and co-workers in Fort McMurray.
The family would like to thank the numerous staff at the James Paton Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion throughout his battle.
At Craig’s request, cremation has taken place and a small private ceremony will take place at Stacey’s Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
Craig’s courage and strength in the face of adversity will always be our inspiration.
