Monique and Tammy, Marie and Ella and all : Please accept our since condolences on the death of your Father and Brother.
Clarence was a remarkable man in many ways. and there are many who, like ourselves, had reason to be thankful for his presence in their lives. He was, at the least, someone we would call "handy." There was little he could not nor would not tackle, be it something for the amusement of others or something like the crafting of his canoe. He was so skilled that beginning with the barest of tools and materials he could bring about wonders. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and, if asked, would share his experience and knowledge freely. And at heart he was kind. He and Betty, as different as they were in some ways, were alike in their compassion and charity. The same Clarence who could be so full of bluster was the one who on our last day in Gander, showed up at the packed-up Manse first thing in the morning, with our breakfast, which he had prepared and carefully wrapped in individual packets for us.
As you give thanks for his life and mourn his passing know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Russ and Bonnie
