May 5, 1950 – November 5, 2020
At the age of 70 years, Wilfred went with his heavenly Father on November 5th, 2020 in the presence of his family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s.
He was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Mary Parrott; sisters: Daisy Sheppard, Kathleen Milley; Brothers: Calvin, Melvin, Stephen, Robert Parrott and brother in law Bruce Sheppard.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Gertrude (Gertie) Parrott ; daughters: Tammy, Trudy Parrott (Darrell Parmiter); granddaughters: Rachealle, Selena Rideout; sisters: Linda (Neil), Barbara (George), Annie, Heather (Don) ; brothers: David (Theresa), Gary (Lisa), Gerald (Oleen), Wally (Sylvia), Albert (Kim), Bill (Tammy) and Wayne; Brothers-in-law: Bill (Patsy), Hubert (Sandra) and also a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Family will be accepting family and friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home on Saturday November 7th between the hours of 1:00pm to 5:00 pm. Due to the Covoid-19 restrictions & government guidelines we ask for your patience during visitation times. Funeral service will take place Sunday November 8th at 2:00 pm from The Salvation Army Church, Gander officiated by Majors Rex & Darlene Colbourne, with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Due to covid-19, the funeral service is invitation only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Wilfred’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army Church, building fund.
