It is with great sadness that the family of the late Simone Elliott announce her passing at her residence on Thursday December 17, 2020 at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband George Elliott (2012) and her son John Elliott (2005). She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Baxter of St. Johns, NL.; daughter Patricia (Ed Delaney) of Gander, NL; grandchildren: Matthew Elliott of Ottawa, ONT., Marcel Elliott of Ottawa, ONT., Kelly Elliott of Ottawa, ONT., Rebekah Delaney of Miltown, NL., Leah Jacobs (Cody) of Gander, NL.; great grandchildren: Hannah of Ottawa ONT., Valicity Hart of Miltown, NL., Angelina Hart of Miltown, NL., Hunter O’Dea of Miltown, NL., Kaiden O’Dea of Miltown, NL., Logan Jacobs of Gander, NL.; sisters: Germaine Walsh of St. Lawrence, NL., and Rose (Leo Slaney) of St. Lawrence, NL. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Sunday December 20, 2020 between the hours of 1:00-3:00 p.m. followed by a private family service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Monday December 21, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. in the Jehovah Witnesses Cemetery, Bonavista. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 global pandemic and in keeping with the government guidelines we ask for your patience during visitation times. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations in Simone’s memory may be made to the Lung Association.
