Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Patricia Francis. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and granddaughter.

Nancy was a person who genuinely loved and cared for everyone she met, any person who had the privilege of meeting her felt the same way about her. Everything Nancy did in her life was to make others happier. She made the world a better place.

She was active with the church through CA’s, YC, and WM. She also loved her work with seniors at senior living homes in Gander and Gander Bay. She spent as much time as possible with animals, either her own pets or a visit to Jigg’s Farm. Though she spent most of her time with her family and friends.

She will live on forever in the memories of her husband Dick Francis, daughters Hannah and Sarah Francis, father Woodrow Harbin, mother Lillian Harbin, brothers Craig Harbin, Mike Harbin, Andy Harbin, Todd Blake, her grandmother Leona Harbin, extended family and friends.

How can a family say good bye to someone so dear to their hearts?.How does anyone go on day by day without having their physical presence beside them? So many questions leaving so many tears. Our family have lost a wonderful person .And our world will never be the same. How do we make sense of it all? As I think about all the moments leading up to Nancy's passing I can find some light in this darkness. What ever Nancy decided to do she was all in.Everything she put her hand to became something special. You were always left sort of speech less when you admired the things she'd done. Her quilts that she made was to perfection. Her and Dicks collection of antiques and how they are displayed in their home are a sight to behold.Everyone has a gift from God, something they are really Good at.But Nancy was a woman of many talents .Whatever she touched turned to beauty.I feel that's how Nancy looked at her illness. With acceptance ,determination and Faith. She was determined ,strong, and with God beside all the way.If anyone fought the good fight ,Then her Name would be among the top of the list. One of her songs on her playlist was Another In The Fire .By Hillsong United . The lyrics to this song spoke to Nancy's heart. And if you listen to the words it tells it All.This was her Faith .This is the light that will shine in your darkest hour .May you all find comfort knowing you are never alone .THERE is another in the fire standing next to you .God be with you and hold you close to His heart .Love Brenda and Paul

Still cant believe I am looking at your beautiful face on here. I cant imagine the sorrow and the heartaches the families are going through as I am still here in a haze. Nancy were were childhood friends and remained so till the very end. The many visits that I had up your place with Caleb when he was a baby, how you treasured each visit ! The many cups of coffee and laughs we had in your home and mine, u had that distinct laugh ! Lou fondly remembers the day when you guys were involved in youth in Wing's Point, you were his right hand ! I know that everywhere you look and things you hear and touch that you will be reminded of her ! Cherish those moments, hold on the memories ! Send our heartfelt love and prayers to Dick, Hannah & Sarah and all the families involved.
