It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband Royburn Hancott at home surrounded by his loving family on Feb 23, 2021. Royburn was born in Frederickton and met the love of his life, Gladys when he was just 20 years old whom he cherished dearly; you couldn’t find one without the other. They made their life in Frederickton and had 5 beautiful children who sat beside him in his final days. Royburn loved animals and spending time in his shed with his family.
Royburn is predeceased by his mother & father, James & Ivy Hancott, brothers Hayward, Ernest, Norman, baby brother Clarence and sister Leona. Mother & Father in law John & Lucy Hart. Beloved dog Kobie.
Leaving to morn with cherished memories are his children Kimberly Wheaton, Tina Hodder (Dexter), Deon (Vanessa), Colleen Richards (Grant), Rick (Jennifer) and his loving wife of 55 years, Gladys. Brothers; Sidney (Elaine) Kevin (Carol) Aubrey (Bobette) & Perry (Eileen); Sisters; Melvina Gillingham (Gordon) & Marilyn Cutler (Donald); Grandchildren; Scotty Wheaton (Alice), Sherry Wheaton, Stephen Richards (Laura), Chantal Parsons (Matthew), Vanessa Hodder, Latoya Hancott (Shawn), Mackenzie Hancott (Brandon), Leon Hancott (Brianna), & Christopher Hancott; Great Grandchildren; Ethan, Isabella and Daniel Wheaton, Mya Burt, Myer Richards, Shea & Reed Parsons, Selena Hannaford.
Due to COVID 19 there will be no viewings or funeral service at this time. In keeping with Royburn`s wishes cremation has taken place.
