December 15, 1932 – March 15, 2021

Allan Watson Small went home with Jesus on March 15, 2021 at the age of 88 years in his home in Gander, NL.

Allan was born to George and Bessie Small on December 15, 1932. He lived in Wild Cove, WB, NL until November 2019. Allan married Joyce Rideout of Indian Cove on July 24, 1969 and went on to have three children, Clifford, Lori and Debbie. He enjoyed fishing, cutting wood and carpentry. He had a deep faith in God that he loved to share with others.

Allan was predeceased by his parents; siblings: Lillian Dawe (Edward), John Small (Elvie), Randolph Small, Frances Small (Baxter), Stewart Small, Mildred “Millie” Pardy (Lester); parents-in-law, Fred and Rose Rideout; siblings-in-law: Warrick Pardy, Bert Hamlyn, Jean Small, Roy & Frances Weir.

Left with fond memories are his wife Joyce of Gander, NL; children: Clifford Small of CBS, NL., Lori Hodder (Trevor) of Gander, NL, Debbie Callahan of Kitchener, ON; grandchildren: William Small, Victoria Small, Chelsey Hodder and Joshua Hodder; siblings: Harold Small (Maxine), Ruby Hamlyn, Mark Small (Patricia), Mabel Rice (Paul); sister-in-law Piney Small and many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Visitation will take place at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Friday Match 19, 2021 between 2-4 p.m. In keeping with government guidelines we ask for your patience during visitation times. The funeral service will be held on Saturday March 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from Evangel Pentecostal Church with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Gander.
