It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one. Simon passed away peacefully from cancer in his home surrounded by all his family, at the age of 77. Simon was born on October 12, 1943 to Herbert and Dorothy Morgan(Tulk) at Carmanville. On March 18th, 1966 he married Jaunita Harvey and together they raised 4 children.

He was a man of few words, but when he did have something to say it was something to make you laugh. He was a hard worker and a good friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed being outdoors, and had a love for horses and enjoyed caring for his miniature pony, Andy.

Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Dorothy, sisters, Jesse and Grace, brother Glen and brother-in-law Ray Rowsell.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are: wife, Jaunita Morgan, daughters, Joanne(David) Greene of Carmanville, Diane(Mark) Parsons of Thailand, Corrianne(Darrell) Blake of Fort McMurray, AB, son, Dean(Darlene) Morgan of Carmanville, grandchildren, Jessica(Andrew), Joshua(Brittany), Caleb, Joseph, Isaiah, Lilly, Veronica, Olivia, Tenisha(Brendan), Justin and Jaxon, great grandchild, Jennifer, brother Arch(Helen) Morgan, sister Donna(Lloyd) Coles, sister-in-law Verly Morgan, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home Carmanville with visitation Wednesday April 14th 1:00 – 5:00 pm. Funeral service Thursday, April 15th at 1:00 pm at the Salvation Army Church, Carmanville. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery Carmanville South . Flowers are accepted or donations to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic.
